The kitchen floor is the most notable part of a kitchen. So, choosing the right kitchen floor design is essential. There are many types of kitchen floor available but you have to be wise in making a decision on which kitchen floor design fits you well and your budget.

The factors that you should consider in choosing your kitchen floor are: its level of maintenance, resistance to water and fire, its durability, your budget, cost for repair, installation fee, its safety and comfort (for children, pets, and yourself) and the overall visual impact of the floor.

The kitchen floor's level of maintenance is determined if it can be easily cleaned by vacuuming and the use of a damp-mopped or if it needs chemical solvents such as polishers/cleaners.
